Founding Physician
Dr. Obehi Asemota specializes in all aspects of reproductive medicine, including fertility preservation (egg and embryo freezing), in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), LGBTQ+ family building, ovulation induction, third-party reproduction, and recurrent pregnancy loss.
Her practice is deeply rooted in helping individuals and couples facing infertility build healthy families by empowering them with education and access to all available treatment options. She considers providing compassionate, personalized infertility care to patients from all walks of life not just her profession—but her calling.
Dr. Asemota’s research has been published in leading medical journals, including Seminars in Reproductive Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Fertility and Sterility. Throughout her academic and medical training, she has received numerous honors, including the Mary Ellen Hartman Award for Outstanding Social Consciousness in Leadership from Drexel University College of Medicine and the AstraZeneca Community Service Scholarship.
She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Asemota earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Chicago and her MD from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Hahnemann University Hospital, where she served as Academic Chief Resident, and later completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Montefiore Institute of Reproductive Medicine–Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Asemota enjoys spending time with her husband, twin boys, and close friends.

Dr. Sicily E. Garvin is a dual board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Reproductive Endocrinologist with a strong focus on women’s health and fertility care. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emory University and her MD from Morehouse School of Medicine.
Dr. Garvin completed her OB/GYN residency at Johns Hopkins and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Wayne State University. She offers comprehensive reproductive services with a particular interest in innovative research and early pregnancy outcomes.
In her free time, Dr. Garvin enjoys restorative movement practices, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Laboratory Director
Dr. Schwartz serves as the Laboratory Director at Hope Fertility Center and is a board-certified High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) and Clinical Consultant (CC) through the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB).
He earned his PhD in Reproductive Physiology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2000 and has been performing IVF laboratory techniques since 1992. Earlier in his career, he collaborated on reproductive research involving wildlife, endangered species, and zoo animals.
Dr. Schwartz has led several top-performing fertility laboratories across the Midwest, helping countless families achieve successful outcomes. He began working with Dr. Asemota in 2020 during the planning of Hope Fertility’s state-of-the-art laboratory and continues to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation in all laboratory processes.
He regularly attends national conferences and workshops to keep the lab at the forefront of reproductive technology. Dr. Schwartz lives in Nebraska with his family and enjoys following Husker athletics.
